Privacy notice
How GAME CREATIVE collects, stores, and uses your personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
This notice explains how we handle personal information when you browse amazingretroworld.com.au, place an order, or contact the booth. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles. If you have a question about anything below, email [email protected].
Last updated: 6 May 2026.
What we collect
- When you order
- Name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, order history, and payment method (we never store full card details — these are tokenised by the payment processor).
- When you message the booth
- Name, email, any order reference you include, and the content of your message.
- When you browse
- Anonymous request logs for security and troubleshooting (IP address, user agent, page requested, timestamp). Kept for 30 days.
- What we don’t collect
- We don’t use behavioural advertising, third-party tracking pixels, or retargeting cookies. We don’t profile you across other websites.
How we use it
We use your personal information strictly to run this shop: fulfilling orders, managing swaps, replying to your messages, and meeting record-keeping obligations under Australian tax and consumer law. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, ever.
We share data only with the minimum set of service providers needed to process your order:
- Payment processors — to take payment and refund you (they see the card details, we don’t).
- Australia Post and couriers — to dispatch your parcel.
- Our hosting provider — to store the site and order records.
All providers are contractually required to handle your data confidentially and only for the purpose we engaged them for.
Your rights
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account. We respond within 30 days and never charge a fee for reasonable requests.
Same address. We can delete any record that isn’t required for tax, consumer-law, or anti-fraud obligations — for those we retain the minimum for the period required by Australian law (generally 5 years for tax records).
Write to us first and we’ll resolve it within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Where data is stored
Data is stored on servers located in Australia. If we ever route data offshore (for example, via an overseas payment processor), we use providers with recognised international privacy standards and we update this notice.
